Judith F. Goodman is a founding partner of Goodman & Jacobs LLP and is a nationally recognized authority on insurance coverage and a seasoned defense attorney. Her clients include pre-eminent insurance companies, insurance brokers, a major real estate developer, and a prominent New York City condominium association.
She is a past Chair of the American Bar Association’s Tort and Insurance Practice Section’s (TIPS) Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee, and holds and has held numerous other leadership positions in TIPS, including being a TIPS Fellow and a Fellow of the American Bar Association.
Ms. Goodman is the author of numerous articles on insurance coverage and insurance-related chapters of legal treatises and is a frequent lecturer on insurance issues.
Ms. Goodman has been listed in “New York Super Lawyers” for her expertise in Insurance Coverage from 2006 through 2016. She received her B.A.from Harpur College and her J.D. from New York University School of Law. She is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York, and the courts of the State of New York.
